Hospitality & Hotels · Toronto and the GTA

Phone, security, and wiring systems for hotels.

Reception calls, staff entrances, and back-office connections are all part of keeping a property running. AIM plans, installs, and supports the systems behind those daily tasks for hotels and hospitality businesses in Toronto and the GTA.

Plan around your daily operations

Make calls easier to handle

Map reservations enquiries, department transfers, and after-hours messages to the people available to answer.

Plan the work across the property

Review phone locations, camera positions, controlled doors, and cable paths together before installation.

Keep operating needs in view

Identify occupied areas and essential equipment so access and service interruptions can be planned.

Example project scenario

Refreshing reception while the hotel stays open

Imagine moving a front desk during a renovation. The new desk needs phones and network connections, while staff still need to answer calls at the old location. An installation plan would identify temporary arrangements, cable routes, and the point at which equipment changes over. Staff-door access and nearby camera coverage can be reviewed at the same time.

Five service areas for your location

Start with one system or plan several together. Each service is scoped to your equipment, space, and requirements.

Business Communications

Set up reception phones, department extensions, voicemail, and call routing around your staffing. Include existing guest-room handsets and any hotel software requirements in the equipment review before choosing a platform.

Access Control Systems

Manage entry to staff offices, storage rooms, and employee entrances. Plan how credentials are issued and removed as staff change. Guest-room locks require a separate compatibility and scope review.

Infrastructure Wiring

Run cabling for reception, offices, cameras, and other connected equipment. Include intended wireless access-point positions in the plan; guest Wi-Fi design and ongoing management need a separately agreed scope.

Troubleshooting and Support

Investigate issues such as a reception phone that cannot transfer calls, a camera that has stopped recording, or an unreliable staff-door reader. Share affected locations and operating hours so the next step can be assessed.

How we plan your installation

  1. 1. Review the requirements

Start with your location, existing equipment, floor plan, and the changes you want to make.

  2. 2. Agree on the scope

Identify equipment, connection points, site access, and the installation work included in your quote.

  3. 3. Schedule the work

Plan the sequence and discuss expected service interruptions alongside your operating hours.

  4. 4. Walk through the setup

Review the installed systems, routine administration, and the support arrangements agreed for your project.

Questions about your project

Could we reuse our guest-room phones?

Possibly. Handset models, existing wiring, and the phone platform determine compatibility. Send those details before deciding which equipment to replace.

Can you connect phones to our hotel management software?

That requirement needs a technical review of the software, phone platform, licences, and functions you need. Include the software name and version in your enquiry; integration is not assumed in a standard phone installation.

Can work take place while rooms are occupied?

Share the areas that must remain in service and the times when installers can enter. The proposed sequence should identify access requirements and expected interruptions before work starts.

What should we include in a hotel enquiry?

Include the address, approximate room count, current phone system, areas being changed, and target dates. A floor plan and equipment list help define the review.
