My headset is not charging when I place it in the charging case. What should I check first?

The audio sounds muffled or the caller can't hear me clearly. Why would this happen?

This often means the microphone boom is not positioned correctly. Ensure the headset is on the ear you intend to use and that the adjustable ear hook is secure. Gently reposition the boom so the tip points toward the corner of your mouth; having it too far back against your cheek will significantly reduce clarity.

I can't get the headset to connect to my desk phone and computer at the same time. How should this be set up?

The base station is designed to manage these connections. With the included BT51A dongle plugged into your PC, pair the headset directly with the BHB710 base station. The base itself should be physically connected to your desk phone. The touch screen on the base lets you select and switch between the audio sources.

The speakerphone on the base station isn’t working for my Teams calls. My PC audio still plays through the headset.

The speakerphone on the base is the audio endpoint for desk phone calls, not PC calls. For a Teams call on your computer, audio is routed to the headset or the computer’s own speakers. The base station’s speaker is designed to take over when you are on a call connected through the desk phone line.

My headset keeps disconnecting when I walk just a short distance from my desk. What causes this?

The advertised wireless range is measured in wide-open spaces. In a real office, Bluetooth range is easily reduced by walls, metal filing cabinets, and even your own body if you turn a corner. I hear a lot of background noise when I’m in a busy room, even though the headset has noise cancellation. Is that normal?

The Qi wireless charger on the base won't charge my phone. What should I do?

Confirm your phone supports Qi wireless charging and that the phone case, if you have one, is not too thick or made of metal. Placement is critical; the phone's charging coil must be aligned with the center of the charging pad on the base unit. Try repositioning the phone so it sits squarely on the pad.
